Employee pricing (ie - EPP / perks at work / etc), First Responder, Teacher, Student, Healthcare discounts all generally get that price.

The 990D is the same soundbar as 990C - but with HDMI 2.1 support so you can connect gaming consoles to the soundbar and still get 4K@120hz - but I fail to see why anyone would do that over just using E-ARC sound from the TV itself.

Because some TVs only have 1 or 2, 2.1 inputs which usually is the e-arc, so this gives you back one more 2.1 input.

There were some comments on a previous same deal thread which say they have been delivered a Canadian registered Q990D and Samsung USA would not cover the warranty for it.

Damn, looks to be sold out. Oh well, I'm sure it will come up again as we head into holidays. Anybody have this? Reviews look very solid but I'm concerned about size of the subwoofer and rears.
