Nice steal for the price I think since it is priced a lot at other stores.

EDIT: My mistake, my comments were for a different version, not OLED

I have this and love it. It's great for gaming, very immersive. It's almost like VR, but without wearing a headset. What surprised me was how great it is for productivity also. It's much better than using 2-3 screens, because you can size the windows however you want. I use Microsoft Fancy Zones to set various window sizes to my liking, and press a hotkey, or hold down control and the window snaps right into place. It's not cheap, but pretty awesome I think.

Other threads on these Samsung ultrawides have indicated significant reliability issues. What would a return look like with woot? Or would it just be warranty RMA or something through Samsung? Guess you need to keep a backup monitor around for such an event?

I was able to get it for $901.28 from Samsung site. It came with 2yr Samsung Care+ and free 24' Odyssey G3. It was their Fall sale apparently. After tax and free shipping it came down $989.

Nice display, but the I hate the on screen menu with menus layered out in funky ways. Also screen would go black while gaming sometimes(2 to 6 seconds). Heard old firmware fixes the issue bit I never tried it.

1440 vertical resolution kills the deal for me.

Are there other Samsungs like these that are taller?
The Ark but that's like twice the price

Except... legibility of text kinda sucks due to the OLED's sub-pixel layout vs. Windows. FYI. I have this too and only use it for gaming due to this.. otherwise enjoy your super zoom level. YMMV
