I never used my keyboard case. Just made the ipad too heavy. But I had the older keyboard style without trackpad.

Wild this is such a good keyboard like it turns your iPad into like a laptop I use on my lap in bed or on the couch even in laptop mode the keyboard and touchpad are so nice to use. I wouldn't hold it with the case on you remove to hold and when carrying it's usually una. Backpack so I don't mind the weight
