A review says it is made in China. That's a full stop for something like this.

I have this mixer and I must say that it is outstanding. Bought it after my 5 quart Kitchenaid mixer died. I can confirm that there is no comparison between the two. I went with the Wolf instead of the similar priced Kitchenaid 8-Quart Commercial Countertop Mixer. And I paid way more than this.

I just checked and Best Buy still has it for $500. Wish I could justify a 2nd one but I just can't. I would buy a 2nd one if I had the cash. And being made in China wouldn't deter me at all since it comes with Wolf's 5 year warranty anyways. It is so beautiful. But do measure and make sure you have enough height under your cabinets as this is super tall - over 17.63" Tall.

Why? Plenty of quality things are made in China, from iPhones to precision industrial equipment. On the other hand, plenty of crap is made in places like Germany. It's all down to the individual company setting quality standards and making sure each product meets them.

I see this deal is over 2 months old and expired, but I have a question since you own this mixer.
Amazon lists the specs in several places as it being 220 volt (as we know household current is mostly 110/120 volt), yet no one in the reviews mentions 220 outlet at all, which makes me think this operates on a regular 110-120v outlet. Am I correct or is it actually 220v?​

It works using standard 110-120V USA outlet. Smilie

The specs showing 220 volt didn't seem right.
