Gorilla carts are sturdy but I hear they rust. I never leave mine outside and if it gets wet, I blow it with the leaf blower for storage.

Yes you can leave it out. I have a similar cart with plastic bucket and metal frame. Frame rusted eventually but it's not rotting by any means. This thing is over 16 years old.
