These games are both excellent. If you lived Metroid or Super Metroid on NES/SNES, these are right up your alley.

Agree I enjoyed the first better, but both are great Metroidvanias.

I also recommend these games. I never got to really get through much of the second one but I beat the first one and it was worth my time. Highly recommended for Samus or Belmont lovers.

Amazing games. 1 is incredible but I actually like 2 better because of what it does for the greater narrative. It opens up the universe of Axiom Verge in an insane way.
