I have 15,000+ hours on a 120" screen with a 1080P projector, sitting at 10ft away. 83" at 10 ft isn't even the THX recommended. You don't know what you're talking about.

Additionally, almost everyone who is looking at $2000+ TV's and doesn't have size constraints is going 98".

Nonsense. The price of bigger screens always drops over time as manufacturing becomes less costly (and market saturation kicks in). This happened with crt, plasma, ips, and every other screen technology. The price on the 65" OLED screens leveled even with the ~40-50" stuff ~2 years ago, and last year the 75 inchers became a lot more reasonable. By next year 75" will have value parity with smaller sizes. The big hurdle after that will be approaching 100" screens. That might take awhile, or maybe before then the market will shit to mini- or micro-LED etc.

I got a C1 77" for $2,000 last year. This is a great deal. The difference between C1/C2/C3/C4 is not noticeable. They all do 4k @ 120 Hz.

Great deal. I have c1 & c2. Negligible differences, Neither tv has ever sat at full brightness because I think these things are very bright. I also have a Sony 77 a80ck oled. I would say the Sony is the better TV but all my tvs are better than any non OLED I've seen in the wild. I'm not pulling the trigger because it would cause marriage problems. But i did measure and confirm it would just fit where one of my 77s sits…..

Same buddy, same. I just bought an 85" Samsung Neo QLED earlier in the year to "upgrade" from our old 65 C7. It still works, but is now pulling guest room duty. If I pull the trigger on this, I'm gonna wind up sleeping in my shed for the winter...

Warmish deal if you're dying for an 83" OLED. 83" panels are kind of pricey so this isn't terrible, and the C2 and C3 are barely any different. C4 is still going to be $3500ish right now I'd imagine.

I have to warn everyone: it don't matter which one you buy, these huge 83-85" behemoths were not a sweet spot for me. The pixelation was just too clear and noticable. 4K HDR movies looked great but I saw a lot more issues with SDR content that I expected, especially in live sports. I've had the 83" G3 and the 85" Bravia 9. For the insane price tag of both, it wasn't worth it. Went back to 77".

If you have a huge theater room, 83" might do well. But your standard 7-11 foot distance, 77" is the sweet spot. To each their own of course.

I have an 83" C1 that has about 12,000 hours in 2.5 years. I've had no problems at all. The reviews suggest the C2 was a pretty big upgrade to the C1 due to the brightness level. I paid $3,200 for my C1 on Greentoe, so this is a nice deal imo.

I have a LG 83C2, it is an absolutely stunning TV. It is absolutely worth it, the difference it makes in watching content is incredible. For reference, I have a Samsung QLED which is a nice TV, however LG OLED's are next level.
This is a great price, there is not a major difference between C2 and C3, C4 has WiFi 6 support and few other features.

I paid a THOUSAND more for the C3. And that was with my LG partner discount! Tell me how its not worth it again? and you're flat out incorrect about pixelation unless you only watch 720p content. and even then you're still wrong

This is actually an insane deal, if you can find one. The C4 is like $4500 in this size (higher MSRP) lol

The C-series has had minor improvements the last few years, and the C2 will get the 2024, 2025 and 2026 versions of the operating system.

The G-series has seen MAJOR improvements, on the other hand.

I have a CX, C1, C2 and a G4 OLED and my CX is almost 5 years old and looks REALLY good still, even though the G4 is a whole other beast. I could swap out any of the C-series I own and barely notice the differences.

ordered and as soon as I get delivery confirmation like its on the way I'm returning the pos samsung 83" oled. it looks fine but media player is so trash most movie files wont play, even when they do I got subtitle issues, dts tracks wont play and I'm hearing commentary, for some files I cant even change the language. the remote is ass too.

I have 2 other LG in the house and this will be the 3rd
