Note that the previous thread on this has a massive amount of technical discussion about practically every aspect of this router and detailed setup instructions etc. If looking for answers, I'd start with a search in that thread (terms like OpenWRT, DD-WRT, stock, CA, mesh, USB, throughput, wired, backhaul, bricked, etc). That may be a good start for those new to it, as it probably already answers a lot of questions that are sure to crop up.

Got one last time. One seems to work for my whole house. Any reason to get a second to make a mesh?
At this price, you might as well pick up one as a backup in case something happens to the first one. It's also possible a mesh might still improve coverage. You might have signal everywhere in the house but might still get better speeds by using the mesh if the signal is weak and that is limiting speeds. Especially, if you use wired back haul for the mesh. You might also end up deciding it's nice to have some coverage in the yard around your house. Maybe streaming music while doing yard work for example.

Can I get two and use one as main router and the other as a mesh node?

Damn, you point out my weakest spot, my backyard. I will put this at the middle of my house back wall to cover my backyard while my mesh takes care of the indoor Wi-Fi.

great price for a wifi6, but openwrt has not officially support this model. seems more difficult because the CPU is qualcomm,

however, you can change DHCP to bright and make it as AP

I have a XB8 Gateway from Xfinity (Free with my contract), Can I use this to give me more WiFi coverage? I been out of the game so long. I'm moving soon to an house hopefully with Fiber. So I just want to know what I'm up against.

I haven't been following it closely but there seemed to be a lot of interest in this router in the OpenWRT and DDWRT communities, along with working beta's. It seems likely the official support will come to one or both of those sooner or later. As many of these as they seem to be offloading at a cheap price I suspect this will end up like the ASUS T-Mobile routers and will be very popular for a long time in the enthusiast circles. In previous threads there were a number of people finally replacing those Asus T-Mobile routers with these routers.
