I did buy another BioBidet and it has performed flawlessly for 3 years now.
Their are other options that perhaps WILL honor their warranty.
I'd be interested of any companies like this that do.
$524 for a toilet seat cover bidet? 21x the $25 bidets that last much longer than this and can change 21x times? For the added seat warmer and gimmics? And have to pay extra $ to electrician to plug this? No way, not spending the rest of my life in the toilet.
Brondell, Biobidet, and whatever korean/chinese knockoffs they are putting out now have zero support. The only one that might have some support is Toto, but why risk it, when shipping is going to cost you the same as a Costco membership. That entire industry needs to fix their shit. It's a disgrace. I'm surprised that they haven't all been hit with class action lawsuits, when they are selling toilet seats for used car prices.

I agree $500 is a bit much. But $250 I paid for a lesser model was well worth it.

Hopefully if enough do it, costco will shift.
Costco sells toto, no?

The main issue with these things beyond the build quality, is you need to replace your toilet hose with a new one. The black rubber sealing the water out is single use. It's 3 bucks at home depot. Don't get the silicon(white) hose. The seal needs to be exact, and it never is.
As a long time Bidet user, I've been looking to upgrade and have been trying to decide between the BB-1000 or BB-2000. Was leaning towards the BB-1000 due to it having the strongest pressure of all the Bidets, while the 2000 is, IIRC 10-15% less pressure, but still higher than the average bidet.
This $440 price puts it right at $100 over the $340 price of the BB-1000 (priced on Amazon)
Time to have the various AI's provide me with more comparisons between the two, and make a decision!

The internal black rubber fits(once) to whatever it's in. So replace that, and hook up the bidet to the second connector on the T valve. And that's it.

The cut off valve exists because there is a giant pool of water is waiting to gush out onto your floor. You turn off the wall tap, flush the toilet twice, delicately remove that hose attached to the wall, and remove the hose attached to the toilet, then install everything and tighten the hose to the bidet and wall gently- just enough to seal. GENTLY. Do not put torque pressure on the wall valve stem or the bidet. The point is to make rubber seal, not crank down a lug nut.
Later, the cut off valve can be used if you replace the bidet, don't want a bidet, or the bidet shits itself and cracks at the toilet(which happens because it's plastic).
Again, if a contractor is doing this(a big ass waste of money), there is no reason for you to know about it. So I don't understand the impetus for parts when it's all the same part. There is only one hose going to every toilet on earth.
