It's interesting to me that they say "drug free" but melatonin is a hormone and it's considered a drug in many other countries. I also consider 3mg a fairly large dose. Another interesting thing about melatonin is that many people even find effectiveness at .5-1mg range.

Alcohol is the worst thing for sleep. It inhibits REM sleep. Why do people think red wine is some magic juice. It's the same alcohol as any other alcoholic drink

That's a very fair assessment. Insomnia won't be cured by most drugs, even melatonin.

Label states "Not intended to treat insomnia." Weird.

It's a different product, but I buy this brand's version of melatonin at Costco and it's worked better for me than other brands.
I want to say the Costco one comes out to about 5 cents per pill when it's on sale but this has more ingredients so for $2 I'll prob give it a try.

Anyone with back problems should stay away from melatonin as at least for me even 2 mg gets me too tired where I don't move in bed. I end up feeling worse in the morning due to the back being aggravated. I don't drink but a glass of wine is probably the best sleeping aid.

Be careful of melatonin as it can cause constipation.
CBD capsules/drops work pretty nice - drowsy in an hour and no aftereffects the next day.
There is junk on the market but Neurogan is good stuff and they do specials regular
There is no buzz with CBD
People have had good success with small amounts of THC gummies. Indica is the strain, just before bed. No noticeable hangover like Melatonin or pharma sleep pills often provide. If your state won't let you control your own body and/or think for yourself, another option to try is Valerian Root tea. Maharishi Ayerveda makes a good herbal sleep supporter called "Deep Sleep" that I like.

All of these can be more expensive than this deal and YMMV and I am not a doctor. I support everyone in getting the best sleep they can through whatever works best for them.

I do agree with this.
I live in California (where dispensaries are all over the place) and about a month ago curiosity finally got the best of me and I bought some Indica gummies.
I got the lowest dose they had (5mg) and I break them in half but it really has worked so far.
I may go back to melatonin but I did want to just see how my body responded to it.
