Having read through the reviews, I noticed a couple of folks saying specifically that this is not good for a house with cats - snags/pills very easily. Keep that in mind if you have cats. This will be a deal breaker for us if true.

No couch is safe with cats, they will f up a leather couch just as well.

If you do decide to buy this, you may want to check out the list of Costco direct items that qualify for the "buy 2, get $100 off." If you're buying the couch anyway, there are some nice TVs that only come out to be $150/175 after the $100 off. I was going to go shopping for a new TV for my mother-in-law anyway, so that is making this couch even more tempting.

I've owned this couch for 6 months. It looks great and is comfortable. There is no sinking between the edges of the cushions. The foot raises are motorized. It had no toxic smell. I'm not sure if the side can be reversed. I paid $1300 for it.
Trying to talk my daughter into getting one. Her sectional is about the same size, but uncomfortable. She like mine way better.

I mean, even if the recliner part is small and not very functional, it seems it would still be beneficial to get things that have rolled under the couch. Especially if you have kids/pets
