And in case anyone was wondering, you can't combine the Ubi coin's 20% discount code with this. Ubi store allows only one code in a cart.

I'm like 2/3 through the game on my PS5.

Gameplay reminds me a lot of the classic AC games. Story isn't the greatest and it seems like I alert the guards doing trivial things like walking through a gate.

That said, I'm having a lot of fun with it - I personally gave up on both Odyssey and Valhalla after 10-15 hours each as the worlds were way too big.

This is the worst, most closed off and poorly written Assassin's Creed we have had in years.

I highly recommend the Ezio Trilogy, Black Flag, and Origins, as well as Odyssey.

I think we have to wait till Shadows comes out to have another good entry into the series.

I really enjoyed this game. I had more fun playing (as janky as they were) AC 1 & 2 than the newer titles which, while still good, aren't Assassins Creed of old. I got the first AC game on launch day so I do have a soft spot for it. This game reminds of that. It doesn't reinvent the wheel. It's more like fan service. So, if you liked AC 1 & 2, I'd recommend this game. Could you go back and just play those games?? Sure. But part of what makes Assassins Creed interesting are the worlds/cities/environments and obviously those previous games don't touch on Baghdad.

Ubisoft store lmao. Will never buy one of their games unless it's on Steam. They need to get a clue.

Seriously. If for whatever reason, you need to reach out to customer service, well good luck. I literally think they have like 1 part time person working in customer service, took them like 3 months to respond to my email after getting locked out of my account (and of course, they didn't respond to anything even remotely close to what I needed addressed).

Somewhat similar experience - played this on PS5 after having not played AC since dropping Valhalla for lack of fun. This was fun, but def some wonky gameplay elements and short and uninteresting story. Backdrop was fun and beautiful. Currently playing AC Odyssey and it is 10x better (but they were clearly going for something different).

Worst Assassin's Creed based on Reviews is actually Valhalla and Unity.

Not sure if you've been asleep on the wheel, but Shadows is looking to be a shit show, worse than Mirage.
