Dang, that sucks to hear. I need a mouse with the back/forward side buttons for my laptop when I travel. Not a big deal to plug in but don't want to have to think about battery life.

Guess ill just keep unplugging my old Logitech M510 and taking it with me for now.

Hopefully this has the improved switches. I tried this and KPA and the KPA has far lighter and more satisfying switches. The ones that (used to?) come with these are practically unusable and worse than ones on mice like the Office Logi M510.

Wasn't ROCCAT absorbed into Turtle Beach? Does this mean the ROCCAT software is finally going to be improved/replaced with something better? I remember one of the worse things for me was it had a fairly low cap on how many game-specific profiles you could save. A cap that had been there for years and was more just a holdover than an actual limitation.

If the Kone XP Air (I think that is the name) goes on sale I may just break for it.

I've been needing to replace my mouse. Reviews on Amazon look pretty good, and the price is usually about double this. I'm in.

Sensor is PMW3361, basically a PMW3360 with some changes from Roccat.

3360/3361 are excellent mouse sensors. Really good. Some of the best. Everybody knows it.

Optical switches are cool.

Weight: 81g ... ew

What weight do you usually use or recommend?
I am using microsoft wireless mouse that weight around 130 grams and I cannot bear how heavy this thing is. I am looking for a mouse with bluetooth connectivity and switches on the side below 50$. Can you please recommend anything. Thank you so muchm

What do you expect when the mouse lights up like a disco?

But way to bury the lede: You can turn all that off and the battery life becomes very respectable.

The new razer wireless mouse is 50-something grams. Idk of anything like that in the $50 category. Wireless mice aren't my specialty.

Am I going crazy or is this an insane deal? Also I currently have wired Logitech's G502 Hero. Is this an upgrade?

Certainly better but respectable is relative. Even with RGB off you are still looking at maybe 60 to 70 hours of battery life using the wireless dongle. A little more if using bluetooth.

I am using the Kone Pro Air right now which has a slightly smaller battery and with rgb completely off I have to recharge it around once every week. Before with a razer basilisk I get over 2 months of battery life from a single no name rechargeable lithium AA battery. And almost 3 months with a nonrechargeable energizer lithium AA battery.

Unfortunately the razer would randomly stop working every now and then and I have either power it on and off or take out the battery and put it back in to get it working again. The Roccat on the other hand has been working perfectly for almost 8 months now without a single issue.

No. Only the newer Burst models get that software.

Sensor is equivalent to a 3370, not a 3361. 3360 is old (but still good) and meant for wired mice. This mouse is over 2 years old and this is well known. Also well known is the poor performance with the RGB on, but it's still good at this price for office work. Weight would be OK but the mouse is a bit small. The much larger KPA weighs 10g less.
