Is this good for work 12 hours a day? No gaming. I don't mind spending a bit more but don't think I need to drop a grand on a gaming monitor.

I have two 27" curved gaming monitor that I use for work. This should work fine, at this size, definitely need a curved monitor for work especially if you have a lot of tabs open. The flat monitors were making my eyes strain too much. Having curved monitors helps with my eyes not having to move to see the edges of the screen.

Also, get blue light filter glasses if you're on the screen for that long. They make blue light filter contacts not too 😃

Does the 6ms response time affect any gaming? For some reason it feels a little high since most are 1ms

Really? I was under the impression that Deco Gear was just the house brand of Beach Camera/Adorama (same company) kind of like Insignia and Best Buy.

1ms is for competitive/serious gaming.

It doesn't matter much for the average joe.

Also, some lesser known vendors advertise 1ms which isnt really the case.

They are based in New Jersey and have US based customer support, not that I think for 1 min that their products are not made in China. Just not sure about them being a Chinese OEM for other companies. Maybe the other way around? A Chinese OEM makes the Deco Gear equipment?
