Bought this crap for $650 when launch. Returned. Doesn't even worth 650 let alone 1k. The arm crap ruined it all

Highly encourage you to watch videos on the Edge versions of this laptop. Read up on the Snapdragon X Elite chip set (not sure if the widely noted issues were resolved yet). And be aware of the absolutely massive track pad the Edge versions have.

Check Samsung website for more favorable pricing with a trade in (reference iPad mini 2 trade in posts on SD!).

I own the 360 version of this laptop (Intel chip set) and am very happy with my decision.

You can't trade in the ipad for this (the one the op lists) on Samsung's site. The base price is $1449.99 on Samsungs site. It makes no sense to buy from there.

This is not a traditional x86/x64 CPU - it is basically a beefed up mobile phone/tablet processor, no native legacy applications. Special Windows version with x86 emulation. Great battery efficiency for web browsing, but anything outside Windows App Store or built-in apps has limitations and pains. Not worth this crazy price outside of a very niche audience, who should get a MacBook instead IMO, with a polished app ecosystem.

These will probably get cut to half or more in the near future now that lunar lake is here. Even then, not sure if I would buy.

These snapdragons x elite were such a let down, I was so hyped for it when they made some huge battery life and performance claims, but when it launched, the only real benefit over x86 was the sleep mode, but that's not enough improvements due to the sheer amount of issues such as software incompatibility and just regular battery life. Now with the new amd and intel lunar lake coming, these became kinda pointless. Worth it only at a very low price for day to day use.

A good looking paper weight.
It is just unusable due to arm cpu and it's compatibility issues.
No one in their right frame of mind would spend money on this e- waste.

I tried to like this. The battery life was not good and the touch pad is awful. Avoid.
