100% worth it at this price. You can easily get 60-70 hours of play out of this game. The story isn't as good as the last one, but the gameplay and side games are better.

I'd be upset if I paid $70 for this. It tanked so fast in price. Probably $15 by black Friday.

Absolutely amazing game. If you liked the last one, this is a no-brainer to pick up at this price.

I've easily sunk close to 90 hours into it.

An absolutely steal at this price.

Saga is charging customer for new game + and it's greed at its max. Great game though but you have to buy multiple DLCs to get the full experience.

Hearing great things about this one but wondering if I should play the first one before it, considering the first one is available on Game Pass.

I would highly recommend playing LaD7 ("Yakuza: Like a Dragon") before this one. That was my first Yakuza game (I too played it on Game Pass) and it was an excellent experience - a very fun and hilarious game.

It introduces the new series protagonist (Ichiban) and his party, so while I haven't played LaD8 (Infinite Wealth), I imagine that game will be easier to understand once already knowing the characters. I'm planning to go back and play the older games (with Kiryu as protagonist) before 8 because I believe Kiryu and some other older characters are in that one.

tl;dr play Yakuza: Like a Dragon, it's a good introduction to the series.

Pretty fun game but the story and content is so bloated I just couldn't take it anymore and ended up watching the rest of the story on YouTube. I played every Yakuza game and this is the only one I ended up giving up on.

I did pay $70 and haven't had time to play it since so many games have come out this year. But I'm glad to support the series.
