According to the terms I read, only new devices are eligible for the free Batman game. Just FYI that may be part of the tradeoff here. But maybe you get lucky and get the Batman game too, don't think you will know until it launches.

Batman game MSRP is $50 and these renewed devices are $50 cheaper than new

Yeah this is the new MSRP. Would it be reasonable to expect these to go 430-450 for Prime Day / BF 2024?

Black friday maybe but prime day I doubt it since they just dropped the price. Honestly, it isn't worth waiting for another couple bucks since this is such a nice price drop. Just my opinion.

True that. I did notice Amazon renewed gives you 90 days return which puts you squarely in BF/xmas territory so I put an order in for the 128GB. That'd be plenty of time to see if I even want it, and also if a superior sale comes up before then.

I would say no, especially with the price of the 3s being so lo with the higher processing and cameras.

I've been seeing used quest 3 128gb for as low as $300 in Facebook marketplace. And quest 2 64g around $120. At those prices, you can try and sell it if you don't like it with minimal loss.
