I bought and returned this at $75. The audio quality was terrible. Even using an external amp, the audio quality was disappointing.

It has gone the way of Old School Pioneer. It's just the name now, the products are junk.

But the brand was bought out by a rando chinese company at least for the mobile stuff

I bought this at $75, and the Android Auto doesn't work. I haven't tried Apple Carplay, but I suspect it doesn't work either because I plugged into the USB port, and nothing happened. Everything else works good, and I have HD backup camera now.


Edit: With the right USB cable, Android Auto is working now. Radio doesn't sound that good, but Bluetooth sounds okay.

I have two of these units installed and no issues with CarPlay for me. It plugged my phone into the jack on the front of the radio.

you have many options. try bestbuy or crutchfield. they have Sony, Pioneer, Alpine, JVC etc otherwise you can also go with EONON, etc that are more full-blown android systems.

Android Auto started to work for me when I switched to my original Samsung charging cable.
