I just installed a Broan-Nutone. No baffles but I think that's an advantage compared to the little sucking power from my bros hood with baffles even on high (tested with a kleenex). Plus we don't usually cook greasy food. Overall good ratings across sites and I'm happy with it. Very simple. Fan speeds 1-2 are acceptable, but 3 created a lot of negative pressure, noise and vibrations.. But after improvements, speed 3 is now acceptable. Speed 2 is still the most used setting. Good luck!
