At $10 a pop, it's worth a shot.

His question was without an adapter and this requires an adapter.
And you replied with "Would have to be wireless and have Bluetooth" which is OBJECTIVELY WRONG and irrelevant. This has zero to do with wireless nor bluetooth and is possible may not require an adapter (probably would thought at a massive investment of 99 cents as I clearly stated). Sorry you are upset that several people corrected you but you cannot walk back your past incorrect statements Wink

And if he's an iPhone user? See what happens when you assume.
Depends on the version of iPhone. You are the one blanket assuming that they have zero plug. If the person is smart enough to know they might need an adapter (for a plug) they probably know if their phone has a plug to begin with.

Logic people, logic....

He clearly stated without an adapter so you are objectively wrong. Why you so mad it's only a forum.

Samsung got rid of the headphone jack in 2019. Samsung sells the MOST Androids. So... Nope most Androids do not have a headphone jack.
Thanks for playing.
Samsung only eliminated the jack on their flagship models. Their budget phones still have jacks.

So you are "assuming" they have a Samsung? Not a Motorola? Or LG? HTC, Blu? Google? Or the thousand other brands? Samsung has the overwhelming marketing share (which isn't close to true BTW) so we "assume" that they need an adapter for a plug they don't have?

And again, they asked about an ADAPTER. If they need an ADAPTER that PLUGS into something, no?

LOL...were they going to shove the jack through the glass screen or throw it in the air and hope it sticks to something?

BTW, 3 replies to a single comment? Someone needs to cut down on their coffee.

Oh Dear.
Samsung may sell the most cellphones, but thrre are Many Many manufacturers. If you know they command over 50% of the world market, you're correct Otherwise you're showing off either illogic, or innumeracy.
Sorry about that, but couldn't/wouldn't resist the impulse

I read through the entire discussion and the amount of mental hoops you're jumping through to defend your original comment instead of admitting you were wrong is mind-blowing.

Here was the original question:
"Can these be used for cell phone headphones in the headphone jack without buying an adapter?"

That person VERY CLEARLY asked if an adapter was needed to use them in the headphone jack. Why would they ask if their phone does not have a headphone jack? Your reply makes zero sense in light of their question.

EDIT: And now you're calling people poor if their phone has a headphone jack because flagship phones don't have them. Which, by the way, is an acknowledgement that some phones still have headphones jacks. Amazing.

He very clearly asked without an adapter. Like what are you reaching for the answer is clearly no you need an adapter.

"We?" So you are "assuming" he / she has a Samsung but don't assume yourself? "lOgIc!"

He clearly didn't state bluetooth or wireless either. Or was he looking for a 'wireless bluetooth plug?'

I corrected you yet notated that an adapter might still be required. I not only fixed your blatantly false statement but added to my post with actual useful information that the original party could use to make a decision.

I'm very sorry you have an entire morning invested in attacking other people but you are objectively wrong and now lashing out.

Have a blessed day and feel free to reply to this post 4-5 more times, sounds like you need to have the last word or your head will explode.

The T.Assault has a 3.5mm jack. The Y300 has USB with RCA. So, no, the answer is not "clearly no you need an adapter."

Nowhere does this listing mention a 3.5 mm Jack at all and what is pictured are traditional left and right aux cables that do not fit into a cell phone without an adapter.
So it seemed to me that I'm on the basis of logic with what's presented while you are going off of assumption
