I got a 77 inch C4 for $2k with soundbar, mount and install. But after getting it and running it at 50% brightness (in a sunny room) I realized I would have been better off with a B4. All these product differentiating tactics are just marketing and nothing else. Maybe with HDR we need to have extra brightness. But it wouldn't be that much to justify a $600 markup.
agreed, the reality is that all those people "enjoying" extra brightness they get are all just damaging their eyes and the eyes of people who live with them. they will turn down the brightness eventually too, but not before it leaves the mark on their health. However, it still pays to have that extra brightness for sunny room, dark content and for the future when the TV loses most of its brightness with time (even some new tech still does it)

Had a pretty poor experience with the partner store and the mounting service. TV was on backorder and nowhere did it say that when ordering or after purchase. Took over a month to receive the TV with no updates available from "customer service" which is essentially nonexistent.

The mounting service was horrible. Supposed to send 2 guys but only sent 1 so I essentially mounted it myself. No refund or compensation provided by LG.

The price was right, but what a hassle.

B4 is comparable to C3, and C4 is only marginally better than C3

I had no issues with the partner store orders and I had 5 orders so far.

On my TV, I did face an issue similar to yours. When I rescheduled my installation, it went from 2 guys to 1. But I caught it in the app and called LG CS to fix it. The rep on call promptly updated it to 2 guys and I had no issues on install date.

Worth an extra $600 to the $1700 B4, though?
It is, but if you keep an eye on the partner store you can probably do better than that. I picked up a 77" C4 for $1799 a couple of months ago.

FYI the soundbars seem to take a beating on resale value, I have the S90TR from another bundle and saw an auction for ~1/3 of retail value.
thanks because nobody wants them. it's built into the cost total one way or another. people want real surround.

Which app do you use to track the delivery?

Not much of a TV guru, but I'm looking to add a 75 inch in the family room we are renovating. Looking for a solid TV that performs decently in a semi bright room and with viewing angle. Was hoping to be around $1500-$2000. I could probably use the sound bar in the basement as I am likely to go with Sonos on the main floor. Is this the TV for me? Any advice from the videophiles would be greatly appreciated.

I got the 77" C4 and S90 soundbar, taxes inc for $2500 employee perks labor day deal, lovely set replaced my ks8000 65" sammy
Had a Denon 7:1:2 setup so the soundbar went to the 55" hisense bedroom tv (since it sounds like a cat in a can underwater) as selling it wouldnt have been worth the hassle
Happy with it for sure
