These definitely look and feel different, even for GI irons. I would recommend going to a store and swinging them before buying.

They definitely look different. They sort of feel like you're hitting a hybrid for all the shots.

I play these now, and I do love them because they're very forgiving for those who often hit behind the ball. I do feel like I've lost about 5-10 yards of distance per club (my 7i went down from 145 to 135). Having said that, my shot dispersion is much smaller, so I use these and shore up on the longer distances with my 3W, 3h, and 5h.

recently bought these at Golf Galaxy, nice clubs, easy to hit, but yes they look a little chunkier than normal irons - you can get them for around I think $485 They've had them listed at $515 for months, and you get get a 10 or 15% off coupon by signing up for their email newsletter or text alerts on the web site (as you click around, you should get a pop up on the site offering the discount)
