This is anything but compact. And 1.3ah battery in this day and age? Even a stapler use 2ah. A drill with anything less than 5ah will struggle in performance.

I was wondering how large this is, until you mentioned it isn't really compact. I went looking at one of the stock photos makes it look pretty large when in the hand. Dewalt says it's 219mm (8 5/8") long, which isn't tiny.

I think I'd much prefer my Makita, but that's a much higher grade tool for more money. However, it is only 7 1/8" long and includes a handle so you can bear down on it while you work. I have this one [ebay.com].

This tool isn't for professional and fell short for weekend home diy. If you need a good compact set. Buy Milwaukee M12 it come with drill & impact + two battery for $130 with hack from HD. They goes on sale very often.

Makitas are nice but more carpenter like them because they're more refined for drilling and driving wood. But you'll pay higher price and they're actually over kill if you're just a home diyer.
I own majority brand of tools and if I can do it over again I'll go for Milwaukee M12.
