Is this really safe? Does anyone have one of these?
I do not have this brand but I have one similar I bought from Home Depot I have used countless times when RV'ing. Most RV's don't come with a roof / wall mounted ladder anymore so these telescopic ladders are great to store in an compartment when you will undoubtedly need to access the roof or the top of a slide. (also nice for taking up stairs in a house)
Regarding this exact one, the hook concept looks cool but I am skeptical how useful it is real world as you normally over extend a ladder past what you are accessing, not hang it. You are asking for a hospital trip hanging a ladder off gutters assembled with tiny sheet metal screws. At least the hooks are detachable. The bar thingy at the bottom seems like a terrible concept unless the ladder was perfectly flush against a flat surface....not likely in outdoor use or when climbing anything at an angle against the ground / grade.

I have one like this, don't remember the brand. Honestly it's heavy as hell, loud as hell when extending/collapsing, and generally a pain to use. You really, really need to need the collapsing gimmick for it to be worthwhile.

Edit: Referring to these types of ladders in general. No experience with this particular random off-brand.
