The long reach jack is physically bigger all around.

The body of $144 jack is 31.5" long, the handle is 50", lift range of 3.5" to 24.5" High and weighs 103 lbs.
The body of $108 jack is 27" long, the handle is 45", lift range of 3.25 to 20" High and it weighs 79 lbs.

Difference between Long reach and 3T low-pro https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L...sZ10&t=34s

This is just one of many WRX Jacking videos where they're lifting it with a "regular" 3 Ton Low profile jack. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D...Ukw&t=194s

Never trust a jack to support the car. You use the jack to lift the car to install a jack stand that will safely support the car. You can leave the jack there but the weight should be on the jack stand(s). Jack stands are sold in pairs and the weight rating is for the pair. So a 3 ton jack stand pair can support 1.5 in each stand. Buy proper wheel chocks to block the wheels that will remain on the ground front and back and only work on a level surface preferably concrete. If you are working on asphalt on a hot day jack stands could sink into the asphalt and shift. If you are lifting at the pinch weld purchase an aluminum pinch weld adapter. When the hydrolics in a jack fail it can drop immediately. Never get under a car only supported by a jack or work on an incline.

tell me you don't know what you're talking about without telling me. Daytona jacks are highly reviewed and used by mechanic shops all over.

Using Harbor Freight jacks stands is idiotic, but not the jack
Fake news. Not one person died from a HF jack. Fear mongering alert.

If you say what vehicle(s) you're looking to lift and then it's probably easier to recommend one. Jacks are meant for different ride heights and different vehicle weights. Is it a 2000 pound Mini Cooper, a 4000 lb Minivan or Full-size 6000 lb SUV? Some jack won't go low enough to fit under a Porsche 911. And if does fit, it "probably" won't go High enough to get the 4x4 with 33s off the ground.
Looking to pick up some fun cars (lotus emira or c8 Corvette) in the future. Wifey wants an SUV or Camry hybrid.

Any suggestions? Worth making her come to pick up 2?

This or the ARCAN 3.0 TON jack from Costco??
Totally different class of jacks.

I have a similar arcan. It works fine, but doesn't have the lift height needed. I was barely able to lift my wife's suv off the ground. Mine has a max lift height of 18 inches. It was totally maxed and the tires were barely in the air. Had to use my older jack for the extra lift. It worked perfectly for my prius.

The daytona super duty is a beast. Weighs a ton more and is much bigger. It rolls and lifts a ton smoother. It also has added length, which made it easier to reach jacking points that the arcan and my old jack simply couldn't.

At normal price it's a bit much. At 40% off, it's an absolute slick deal.

Do you have the Superduty (3 year) low pro or professional (90 day warranty) long reach low pro jack? Seems even though the superduty is not marketed as such, dimensions indicate it has same reach as the professional.

What grease gun do you use? can you get away with just filling with a squeeze tube or can the zerk cap not be removed? I don't know if I've ever actually used a zerk...just greasing directly from a squeeze tube for my trimmer, etc. Thanks.
I went with the super duty for the warranty alone. Truth be told I would have preferred the long reach, but I've been in the store too many times where someone can in on day 91 and the employeestold them tough luck, the warranty was out. I could have bought the extended warranty, but then you're close to the price of the super duty.

Honestly, either one should give you years of great service. But the super duty warranty offers more peace of mind.

Good deal, the only question can this last longer more than few tire rotations. Similar Jack from HF failed after short period of time .
If you're talking about the pittsburgh one I've had a few problems with those but generally have been great. The 2 pumping pistons like to get laced with dirt and need to be cleaned occasionally or else they start to get stuck.

Tempted to get the daytona one but my pittsburgh has been great for the past ~5 years and it gets used a lot.

If you are getting a C8 - you are going to want to get the Daytona ultra low profile 1.5 ton. It's $299 but with 40% off worth buying.

I plan on getting one of these tomorrow. I'm sure I'm missing something but how do I print the coupon for the in-store purchase? Click on the coupon just brings you to the product page.
You don't need to print it just show them the coupon on your phone

The purple colorway looks beautiful in real life. Tons of mica/glitter and depth.

90 days warranty on their stuff always gets me. They want to sell those extended warranties. A yr is $50 +- on these jacks, which should be the min they provide. to start with.

This is a good deal. Make sure you get jack stands though too. You shouldnt be under the car when its only supported by a jack.
