The long reach jack is physically bigger all around.

The body of $144 jack is 31.5" long, the handle is 50", lift range of 3.5" to 24.5" High and weighs 103 lbs.
The body of $108 jack is 27" long, the handle is 45", lift range of 3.25 to 20" High and it weighs 79 lbs.

Difference between Long reach and 3T low-pro https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L...sZ10&t=34s

This is just one of many WRX Jacking videos where they're lifting it with a "regular" 3 Ton Low profile jack. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D...Ukw&t=194s

Never trust a jack to support the car. You use the jack to lift the car to install a jack stand that will safely support the car. You can leave the jack there but the weight should be on the jack stand(s). Jack stands are sold in pairs and the weight rating is for the pair. So a 3 ton jack stand pair can support 1.5 in each stand. Buy proper wheel chocks to block the wheels that will remain on the ground front and back and only work on a level surface preferably concrete. If you are working on asphalt on a hot day jack stands could sink into the asphalt and shift. If you are lifting at the pinch weld purchase an aluminum pinch weld adapter. When the hydrolics in a jack fail it can drop immediately. Never get under a car only supported by a jack or work on an incline.

tell me you don't know what you're talking about without telling me. Daytona jacks are highly reviewed and used by mechanic shops all over.

Thoughts on low profile vs standard jack? I don't have a low profile car, so it seems unnecessary, but maybe I'm missing something.
If you are very certain that you won't own a low profile car ever, then just get the standard version. After the 40% discount, the price difference is actually not much. So my recommendation is to get long reach and low profile to cover everything just in case that one day you need a jack for that function. You may not neede for your car but maybe one day for your friends or relatives?

Got long reach lo pro and free bucket.

One of the front caster wheels is 1/8" off the ground on level surface and freely rotates. If "wobble it" the opposite rear caster lifts off.

Should I return it?

The low profile may not lift your truck/suv high enough, so you might need wood blocking for extra lift vs the regular which has a higher lift height. If all your friends & relatives are tall and drive trucks, then buy the standard jack. Alternatively, just buy both today & try them out. You have 90 day return window to return the one you dont want.

No, you need jack stands. Lift one side set it on jack stand and then go and do the same on the other side
Gotcha.

Superduty or Long reach? Occasional use, buy once type of thing. Will the 3 3/4th vs 3 1/3 minimum height make a difference on cars like a C7/C8 corvette?

This is the version that Snap On sued them for. I've had this one for years now. I trust it with my life. https://www.harborfreight.com/3-t...SQQAvD_BwE
Why did they sue them?

I've had the HF 3 ton snap on clone for years.

Never given me any problems at all.

I never lend out tools, but I have lent out that Jack a few times, Because it seems totally bombproof.

NEVER use a jack without Jack Stands if you are going under the car. Don't even think about it.

According to the product description, the low profile has a higher lift than the standard. I believe it's an extra 1.5". Check the descriptions.

Don't know much about cars, but seeing this is a good buy what's the best recommendation for an suv? Also of if I want to change the brakes for the car can I do it with a jack one tire at a time or do I need some type of stands to hold car frame high in place. Can someone link the items needed?

Both jacks are made in the same Chinese factory.

S-O sued saying that HF copied the jack.

HF countersued saying that snap-on was falsely claiming that their jacks were "assembled in USA".

Finally both parties settled without any money being exchanged.

I used the 15% coupon a week or so ago and got the jack, now I see this and can't find my receipt. Great.

I'm going to change brakes on my Rogue. I'm going to get stands so I can just go from tire to tire without adjusting the jack each time. Seems like a huge time waster to me.

Oh my - just picked up the long reach low profile that I've been waiting on to go on sale and now wondering if I should have gotten the superduty. Just saw both have similar reach and jack height but the superduty has 3-year warranty.
I ended up returning the low profile/long reach for the Super-Duty. After watching YT comparison video the profile and reach are pretty similar but I like the easily removable handle on the SD since I store my jack under a work bench (spring-loaded pin vs bolt). Also, I didn't originally realize the SD has a 3-year warranty vs 90 days. One feature missing on the SD is the foot pedal.
