If you're thinking about making a grilled cheese in one of these, measure your bread first. Most slices of bread in the USA will not fit in this mini skillet. You can cram it in there if you really want to.

This would work for small pan of cornbread, if you're cooking for one or two, but I've got a whole set of Lodge cast iron from the smallest to largest.
