With added gaskets I can get 10-12 hours of run time off a basket of lump. That's not bad for a kettle.

I'd save up for a true ceramic Kamado. I bought my Vision Classic from Costco in 2013, use it 2-3x weekly (year round), and outside of new gaskets every year or two and a new daisy wheel, it's still flawless.
