And as mentioned in previous post, the ppi is as good as 24" 1080p monitor. So good for gaming due to 200hz refresh rate, but mediocre for normal office text.

Well - It's still technically 1080P, just 1080P Ultrawide. It's not nearly as popular as 16:9 1440p or 1440p Ultrawide (21:9)

That being said - it should be less demanding than even 2560 x 1440 (16:9, 1440p)

It's tempting for me. I have a gaming laptop w/ a 4060 Mobile and it's arguably a 1080p card - so I may fare better long run if I go 1080p UW vs 1440p 16:9.

Edit: I bought one. I had a 21:9 back when they were much less common and I loved it for productivity. This one will be connected to my laptop, so if I REALLY want 1440p, I can use the laptop screen.

Can you elaborate? I'm looking for a solid ultra wide monitor or budget monitors to improve productivity mainly for office work. I'm not into gaming or anything. Hoping to get dual monitors in a vertical stand or one 34 inch ultrawide to pair with my 21 inch monitor currently using
