$12.88 currently at Amazon. $19.99 is overinflated (as usual)!
Has an "ETL" certification, making it safe to use. Far too many of these things aren't safety certified! Always confirm that any electrical device has either a "UL" or "ETL" certification! If not, move on!

Obnoxious blue LED. Maybe it can be covered or diffused by filling the hole with white caulk.

Silicone seal or clear caulk is better. It'll diminish the brightness vs. blocking it entirely. "Lightdims" are the best option for this purpose (sold directly, by Amazon and elsewhere).....

'1 USBC + 2 USBA rated at 17w max output'

With that low charging speed, what's the point of buying this for USB ports?

Most people would use these as glorified extension cords and not for charging purposes.

USB ports on these devices wouldn't have surge protection, and using a cheap, low-end device such as this this as a surge protector (for electronics) would be a mistake regardless.

Thinking things like Google home, or Alexa or wireless charger for my phone, etc.

I grabbed some of these on a previous deal. Overall they're fine and work as intended, but a couple of them the middle outlet was misaligned and I had to straighten out the internal contacts to be able to slide a plug in.
