Ive owned this one for about 6 months now, use for my 12 mile commute to work, you'll get about 24 real world miles before needing to charge it. Paid about 800 for mine, no brainer at 500 imo

24.8 rounds up to 25 I'd say, but I apologize for the misrepresentation.

Takes me about 30 minutes each way, personally I can't say its given me any problems with my knees or back, but this might depend of the individual so YMMV

I bought this for $499 from Best Buy's found on slickdeals. The scooter is quality but it doesn't go 24mph it goes like 14mph. I like how the scooter is wide but I feel it's kinda short. I'm no experienced electric scooter rider so don't take my comments too seriously. For $499 I'm kinda happy with my purchase I just wished it can go faster or at least what it's advertised. I do ride my boosted electric skateboard a lot and the electric scooter feels slower.
If you bought this same model, I would be writing the company that was only going 14 miles an hour. You need to contact that company ASAP and get it fixed cause that's definitely Wrong or maybe are you just an Eco mode? I don't know I'm just trying to help.

Dude. Same here. The rotors were bent, bell was busted, tires flat, no brakes and beat to shit with gouges in it. Sold as like new. Going back this week.
I bought two. Both are indistinguishable from new.

Yeah, it's actually pretty crazy, What came out of that box. The fact that they shipped that thing is a straight up, disrespect to all Consumers lol. I wrote a long complaint email to Segway. Let's see if I get anything from them. I'll let you guys know.
I actually called them. They said I had to take it up with Walmart even though this thing was seriously dangerous to ride. I spent about an hour fixing the rotors adjusting the brakes and trying to clean it up there was tape all of the handlebars too the thing was disgusting.

I've never even worn a seatbelt brother. I took the drivers side out my old car. I don't wear gloves training; an punching metal. Tho I do wear shoes kicking. I wore a knee brace for a couple weeks after hyper extending if that makes u feel better
I hope you are wearing protective gear on your scooter. I get that you don't mess around, and point taken. But if you're in this thread, you're probably going 20 to 25mph on a scooter if you haven't already and with a hyper extended knee, scooters don't have failure modes that cars do so the more safety gear the better.

That's so funny. That's the typical blame game when I was at Walmart the manager there was like. " well that came from a third-party seller so that's not from us." and of course, I replied that Walmart is making their cut off of every sale so they are also holding the bag on this. I'm gonna wait and see what Segway says and then I'm gonna talk to Walmart. See what they'll do because that whole thing was BS.

These Inokim scooters are what I called overengineering. I had tried the Light 2 and it was horrendous, short handle bars, low deck that is not good for city rides, super loud spinning noise, dangerous anti-slip matt that is rougher than concrete.

What I hated the most was that kick fold system. In order to fold the scooter, I had to stand on one foot, with the other foot stepping on the lever under the stem. And while in this awkward position, I would have to hold onto the handle bars and rock the scooter forth and back to activate the folding mechanic. It was so stupid. And for the couple of times where I forgot to unlock the locking pin before folding, the whole thing was stuck halfway right in the middle. It was such a stupid design.

Man, this is in my budget, but the shipping is almost 20% if the scooter price bringing the total to $580+. Hard to justify.

I got this one instead and for $550 I absolutely love it. I'm 6'4 220 pounds and the scooter holds up perfectly fine. It easily can go up to 28mph and 35 miles range.

Ther reason they list it as 14mph is because many states and most European countries laws only allow 15mph max speed for electric scooters, so the company is only saying that for legal purposes to cover their own butt. The scooter can actually go 24.8mph. They are often set to only be able to achieve a top speed of 15mph out of the box, but a simple press of a couple buttons permanently "unlocks" the true top speed. I've seen quite a few scooter manufacturers use this same legal advertising trick, so just do a minute of research for any scooter you're interested in buying to see what it's actual top speed really is because many of them are higher than advertised for this reason. For example, I bought an Unagi ONE scooter last year which has a claimed top speed of 15mph but there is a well known and easily found short sequence of button presses you can find online to "unlock" it so its max speed is 20mph instead, and stays that way forever.

In this case it's advertised 25mph but only goes 14mph

Dual drum brakes are so nice. Drum breaks are a $3000+ scooter feature.

I purchased the new Segway ZT3 Pro so I wonder how they would compare. Segways always have the best riding experience and safety and those matter the most to me. This scooter looks like a toy compared to Segway's top of the line ones.

Google the "unlock" code for that particular model because it is probably still locked with factory settings to comply with the 15mph legal limit imposed by many states/countries. The code is just a short sequence of button presses on the scooter to "unlock" the 15mph cap and make it go its actual top speed instead. You can also ask/email the company and they will also just tell you what it is, but Google is usually faster.
