Vanish is the best value in FC imo. I don't use it this light, but the heavier stuff has been great. I bought a 1700 yard spool of 60lb in 2015. It's caught a ton of fish (vermillion, red snapper, grouper, amberjack, trigger, mahi, etc.) and finally started breaking down this year to the point the remainder of the spool is trash. We use the 30lb and 40lb quite a bit too.

I am a braid guy, I run braided line on everything from my ultralight rods to my heavy baitcasters (panfish/trout and bass guy) but this is my go to fluoro for leader material. I typically use 6-15 lbs depending on application, and this is a solid price

The fish I usually catch would snap this line so easily.

Last time i bought fishing line from Amazon. It had a LPN label on it. I worked at Amazon for years. LPN usually means it was a returned item or damaged in the warehouse. I looked at the line it was previously used. Looked like someone put his old line in the box.

Several years. My bulk spool lasted at least 8 years kept in the dark when I wasn't tying leaders from it. Like soloma said, UV is your biggest threat to breaking down most fishing lines and making them weaker. Some braids are UV stable but FC isn't.

It must be a ymmv. I've never lost lures like the 2 days I tried this 12lb line. It would snap halfway down the leader. I should have thrown it out the first time, but I stupidly thought maybe it was just bad luck.

I've used their trilene, and a bunch of seaguar. This went in the trash.

This is normal price at Fish USA. But I'm happy to see a fishing deal anytime.

As others have noted I too have found these lines to be super brittle, often snapping and losing fish. Went to Seaguar and never had any issues since.
