Thanks OP. Happy to to see price is finally coming down. In for a 2TB. Now I need a large capacity SD card. B&H had a recent sale but limited to 256GB.

You have issue with this brand overheating?

This would be my first Lexar CFExpress card so I can't tell you if there's any heating issue, but I do have their SD card which I haven't experienced any issue.

I have multiple Prograde cards and a Sebrent 1TB card and didn't have any issue.

I was curious as to what is the XF605 and went over to B&H site. According to the spec it doesn't take CFExpress card. B&H website [bhphotovideo.com]

Unless it has a known compatibility issue otherwise I don't see why not. One of Lexar selling point: smoothly captures 8K raw video with ease

Very impressive R/W speed, I actually looked into it a few months back. Link [bhphotovideo.com]
Thanks to a PCIe interface, you can achieve maximum read speeds up to 3530 MB/s, maximum write speeds of 3210 MB/s, and sustained write speeds of 1420 MB/s.

Thanks, I didn't know it existed. I guess the camera will only be able to reach their maximum speed capacity and not that of the memory card. The adapter on B&H is $45 and a 2TB Sebrent nvme 2239 card is $220 which comes to $265. Not bad if it works on the Z8. It does say compatible with Z9 but didn't say Z8.

I've never heard of these. Are they just for RED movie cameras?

Thx. I was checking for some review and came up with a comparison chart which shows both Lexar and Sandisk have the highest temp reading (85F). Not sure which Lexar card was tested but the sandisk extreme pro was tested.. I have a sandisk extreme pro and it overheated in my z8 after 15 mins of shooting pics. Granted that it was 95F outside a month or so ago and i have a skin armor on my Z8...
