Be careful, even it shows the code applied, you will still get charged $9 shipping...this should be illegal...this is fraud.
Once you get it, return to store, you still lose $9 shipping. Jeez!

Same thing happened to me, dont select paypal checkout, select payment thru paypal during checkout. Also you can do chat and ask for agent and get the order cancelled.

Got shipping refunded the old-fashioned way, by a human on the phone. Clearly their merchant/PayPal "integration" needs work. Actually, I can't remember any other checkout where the shipping method was an option in the PayPal pop-up as opposed to the merchant's own site.

Those who contacted CS about the shipping cost and have it removed, did you get any email confirmation about that? Or did you get any email from PayPal about reimbursement of $9? I called Gap CS and the guy said he removed it but when asked for a confirmation he said there won't be any email...so I'm not sure what's going on...

No email confirmation. It sounded like it could take a while (days) for account to reflect the change.
