This looks like a basic paddle without any high end features (like a raw carbon face, foam edges, or thermoforming). It's also a no-name. Doesn't look real slick to me.

I often see a brand that claims it's thermoformed with a raw carbon face for around the same price posted here. That's a better deal... if it's true. I don't really trust any of these brands to be built to the quality they claim though.

For $50ish you can get a Friday paddle, which is a well known brand with all those features.

I have the raw cf and the thermoformed models (not this one) from this brand. They are well-built, play solidly and are better deals when on sale for $30.

I do agree they are promoted on SD a lot, but I have tried to separate ones and been very impressed. I currently use the "T700- 16MM-Thermoformed-Paddle Lead Tapes" model and it is very comparable to my Gen2 Perseus Ben Johns. It was $30 on sale

I tried a Friday paddle but it developed a rattle after the first game, which hasn't happened with any other paddle brand I have tried.

The 50% appears to only apply to their CAS paddles (older tech). This is probably better than the cheap starter fiberglass sets. I would spend the extra $5 and get the Juciao/T700 Temu

They have a T700 CFS paddle for $65 +30%+6% = ~$41.60. This is probably along the lines of a Juciao or Temu T700 paddle. These typically get as low as $30.

At the $50 price point you are now into the Friday pickleball Paddle Territory or Pickleball Poker paddles.
Theroformed Paddles.
