In my area. A rather large city. There a ton of these on the used market for relatively cheap. Keep this in mind. Both Osprey and Deuter brands.

I got the poco plus a year ago. the sun shade is built into it. It slides out of the back and hooks in the front. if you zoom in there is a zipper between the back rest and the grey carry handle on top. sun shade is stowed in under thst zipper

Okay thank you for the clarification! I have seen some hiking baby/kid carriers where it isn't included🥲. I was surprised they didn't include a pic of it out for this one. It is definitely a big part of why I would use this one over a basic baby carrier for hiking.

If you get this or the Plus, do yourself a favor and get the rain cover. Saved our butt's on a long hike and decided to rain on us. Did a very good job of sheading water over 95% of the pack. Only complaint was that it didn't cover his feet.
