If you travel on public transit in Europe, this is a must have. Wear around your neck under your shirt.

Having lost my passport once while traveling, I would urge people to get one that zips or snaps close. Just my 2 cents. Getting a replacement passport can be a time killer depending on where the embassy is relative to where you are when you lost your docs.

Well… this looks like a complete waste of money. This is just as useful as the ticket pocket in suits.

Yeah, wear around your neck until one of the bad guys yank from you. Was in (France/Switzerland) 3 weeks ago - almost got mine yanked out with something similar to this. It's not worth it; dangerous

This. Was in St. Petersburg last decade and someone in our travel group had their passport stolen. They didn't have a pouch like this. The closest embassy was in Moscow, a 4hr hi-speed train ride. The pickpockets work in groups.

Unfortunately, I don't have a specific recommendation. The one I have (can't find the same one, probably discontinued) is from northface and was around 40 bucks. This is one of those things where you should bite the bullet and spend money on something durable and safe. Your time (particularly on holiday) is worth a lot.
