I had the exact opposite experience, Oral B user for 10 years and switched to an ultrasonic 3 years ago. My hygienist noticed less buildup and staining.

I used the sonicare types for years but recently switched to oral b and think it cleans much better

Haven't tried their toothbrush, but I have their water flosser, which I got on a SD for $10, and I like it a lot.

I bought Bitvae Rotating brush 2 Pack $40 a year ago. even dentist noticed better results. Was using oral-b before that.
My only complaint is charge port design not being perfect. But the money saved and monthly charging outweighs oral b big time.

I've used a similar bitvae for like a year. It didn't have a base but a plug, but otherwise looks very similar.

plus
Way better than manual brushing, my teeth felt improved after a week, and I do floss regularly
Battery life is roughly one week of 2-3 times a day of 3-6 minutes.
Many heads included, and they last a long time.
Battery seems to have held its charge capacity quite well

Cons
Surely not as good as a sonicaire you can buy at Costco which every dentist recommends, and at a decent price. My dentist said he couldn't get it at a competitive price so he won't carry it and recommends to just buy it at costco, which shows his real impartiality.
Electric toothbrushes supposed to be some of the least recycleable piece of ewaste there is due to how the battery is not mean to be swapped and are basically sealed inside to protect from water intrusion.
Nonstandard, non usb charger

I was very happy I spent the $10 or $12 on mine.

Some of you are crazy. Even the cheapest Sonicare beats any oral b. Unless oral b has changed recently they used to be horrible. Not sure how this compares might as well test and use for toddler at this price

No, the barrel that the sonicare heads fit on is a thin shaft of metal, these have a thick plastic barrel so they aren't compatible with each other

I had the opposite experience, I like the sonicare better and feel it does a better job. I was an oral b fan for years. For those that don't floss regularly, if you put a little water in your mouth before brushing the sonic waves stir up the water and it really cleans between your teeth. It feels like a dentist cleaning every time I brush.

If you like to brush your teeth really hard with a lot of pressure you can do that with the oral b. I don't think that's very good for your teeth. The sonicare that I have has a pressure limit.

If the sonicare style had larger brush heads they may

lots of people really offended by the support of sonicare brushes lol (as noted by the TDs).

I switched from a $100 Oral B to this exact one, although it was $8 the set the first time around, and absolutely noticeable degree of lesser buildup for me.

Is this truly ultrasonic?
40,000 strokes/min puts it in the sonic range.....

I have tried this brush and many of the other cheap toothbrushes on amazon.
The 7am2m toothbrush is my favorite one. The brush heads on the bitvae are too fat. The 7am2m brush heads are nice and slim and get into the crevasses deep in the back of my mouth.
