I have used this and it is better than oral b (used it over 5yrs)
Charging capacity is awesome 30 days +.
Only minor design drawback is charge point. Not the best like oral b, but good enough.

I bought this one about a month ago after my old Oral b died.
It uses the same brush heads as the older model Oral Bs and they are inexpensive and readily available on Amazon. It does as good of a job as my Oral B iO model. The charging plug is a bit awkward but not a deal breaker. I don't need Bluetooth connectivity to my phone to brush my teeth. These are excellent toothbrushes.

What was your final price? Amazons new checkout screen is buggy with codes. Sometimes it says code is not working but it still applies. I just tried it again and the code seems to be stacking with the lightning deal. Final price $14.98

D2 appears to be a Sonicare dupe that uses ultrasonic to clean where as this R2 is an OralB dupe using rotation to clean.
