- Go to the Walmart+ Membership cancellation page but do not confirm your cancellation yet
- If your account qualifies for the 50% offer, you will see an orange banner that states "Get 50% off for a year", "You'll save $49 on your plan!" with a button that says "See offer"
- Click the "See offer" button
- A pop-up window will appear with the details of the 50% Off your annual plan offer.
- Agree to the terms and conditions and click "Claim offer"
- On your Walmart+ Membership page, you should see a banner stating "You're getting 50% off your next year of Walmart+"

Edit: Another funny thing - the email I got after doing this retention recommit deal says I'm getting 0% off my next renewal, and saving $0! I guess because I paid $49 last time too. You'd think they wouldn't send the email out in that case

Tried both Chrome/Win and Android app (did the actual cancellation on Chrome).
Too bad - I was using it for little deals where shipping would kill it.
And Walmart closed our local "neighborhood" store that I used for online pickup.
