I have a slightly different color and possibly version, but this has been the best fan / air circulator I've ever purchased! It was actually 82 in my room and with this on I didn't even need AC
At least it's not Dyson 😂
I have a non wifi from Walmart deal, this thing is heavy, quiet, and powerful. Wish I had the controls this has for when it gets hot in the morning. If you need the wifi this is a very nice fan imo.

I just bought something like this. So what I didn't like about it was it's a little short. One other thing is when you set up the automatic fan speed it doesn't go to Turbo ( the highest setting). I also wish the remote lit up. Oh my perfect downward angle of the fan is not technically an angle the fan is supposed to be at but I put it between the two and it seems to stay okay unless I bump it relatively hard.
Now what I like about it. I set up schedules (the killer feature) so every night before I go to bed it turns up to Turbo and then at a certain time turns to the automation chart thing I set up. So for example if it's 72° in my room it's going to spin at 1. And then let's say it warms up to 73°, now it turns it up to two. Let's say for some reason it gets up to 85 then it will turn up to 8.
I like that's a difference between the speed setting numbers are mild enough not to wake me up when they change for example if my wife would turn her fan from high to medium the sound difference in the room would maybe wake me up or from medium to high. Plus it turns off after I get up, the schedule can be set up per day or like I did I have weekend schedule and a weekday schedule.
I like that the base is super heavy.
It moves a lot of air for such a small fan.
I bought mine directly from the vendor. And I definitely would consider buying another one when I need to buy my next fan.
My worry is they are going to turn off the smart features before I'm ready to get rid of the fan.

Does it play nice with Google Assistant? Meaning can I add it via the Home app and use voice control to turn it on or off? Or do I still need to use the app via phone to control it remotely?

Mine works perfectly fine with Alexa, don't need to use the remote at all.
I have this exact fan, purchased on Aliexpress for $99 when this was 130 on Amazon so this is a great deal! Even better if you have Prime credit card for 5% on top. Best fan I have, both in term of looks and functionality. I have all kinds of Vornados, including the 660 and this beats them all. It's quiet, moves a ton of air, and being able to adjust the angles remotely is more awesome than I expected.

I just checked on AliExpress and it's currently available for $99.79 using one of the coupon codes on their front page. I think I'll go that route.
This is true! Best app controls. Google Assistant also lets you control most of it; On off, speed settings in number, turning vertical and horizontal oscillation on or off.
