I don't see the craftsman on there, which was a recent slickdeal and apparently highly regarded. List is worthless. NEXT!

Also... is low or high a better score? Or is it a mix of both? Incomprehensible.

List is based on where it ranked compared to others. So 1 = 1st place / 12 = 12th place. Then the average score is is based on ranking numbered. Just like golf, the lower the score the better. Also, project farms video was great and can give you a good understanding of what to look for based on how you plan to use your screwdriver.

Here's a link to the project farm video in case anyone was interested:

Okay that makes sense, thanks for the explanation. It's just a bit odd to see an average of a value denoting ranking.

How does this compare with LTT screwdriver (that's been burned into my head by Linus on Youtube)?
Just buy the Megapro Automotive instead https://www.amazon.com/gp/product...5H76&psc=1

As far as I remember (and if we are talking about the same one), the craftsman screwdriver was double-ratcheting, while this one is single ratcheting. Some people like double ratcheting but I always end up using even those as single ratcheting anyway. Plus, on a double ratcheting screwdriver you cannot fix the head - you have to choose between clockwise and anti-clockwise ratcheting.

I'm not saying the craftsman was bad, but I purposely did not buy that one because of the double-ratcheting even though I was in the market for a decent screwdriver (I recently had to give away my go-to screwdriver cause I was moving houses and on the last day, I couldn't carry it in my cabin baggage; tools about 7" are not allowed; we didn't have check-in). It just comes down to personal preference. I will be buying this one instead.

I prefer this model that has impact rated bits for my tool kit. That way I can reuse these bits in my impact driver. Not everyone will have that use case, but Klein makes a few hand tools that offer that compatibility and it's handy to have if you need that sort of versatility. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CX27G678

I paid $22 for it normally. It's not the original price listed. Still a good deal though
Yea, I'm not seeing the lower price either.

Someone went through the trouble of writing up Project Farm's ratcheting screwdriver rankings, by various test category: https://imgur.com/2LVZ6Qf
It probably comes down to what you're looking for, including whether $20 is your hard limit to buy a screwdriver.
I love project farm. It got me to buy the LTT Driver (when on sale) and have been loving it.

I always trust his recommendations

I literally just returned this Klein screwdriver today. The black rubber grip slips on the yellow plastic barrel of the screwdriver. Completely useless. Ordered the MegaPro Automotive after watching the project farm video.

I ordered 2, should make great Christmas gifts. I'm a little bummed it's not magnetic, I forget to check before ordering. I know this is Slickdeals, but if you are after an elite ratcheting screwdriver, I've had this since 2004, and it's incredible. (yes it's magnetic)

$4.40 off everyday price.
OK deal, but I have Miwakee and Wera, and only need one of them. Came here for a real deal on Klein. I guess no screwdriver for me. Yawn

I have this. It's my go to for a general purpose hand driver. There is more slop/wobble than I'd like. It's not a precision German tool. On the other side of that coin, it's tougher than a precision driver. I've dropped it countless times and it's no worse for the wear. The bit storage is well designed and functions perfectly.
