Firetv... I think no. i have F50 55" Firetv - I don't like it. slow and the picture quality from a third party player is better than the built-in one.

It's a TV issue. Not a software issue.

Just got a Hisense with built in FIre OS. It's way better than my previous TV. Quick, responsive

This TV likely has slowness issues though. It's also $200 ~

I've had this set for 2 yrs with no problems.
Great picture, sound is marginal so I'm using Zevox sound bar.

I bought this same exact TV over a month and a half ago and the screen wasn't too bad. FireTV is a bit slow but like having Alexa built in. I have a Roku and a Chromecast on it along with a PS5 and everything works great for the $230 I paid for it. Sure there's other better TVs out there but at this price I can't complain.

The Fire TV built into these is absolutely terrible. It's worth spending the extra ~$40 to get a real fire TV stick rather than use the painfully slow built in Fire.

Never connect it to your home network, treat it as a "dumb TV". Then get a $20 Onn Android box that runs circles around FireOS and won't be rendered useless in a year from bloated updates.

My thoughts exactly. The fire sticks are always faster and better in my experience than the built in stuff.

For a cheap TV, does seem tempting though.

Not recommended as a computer monitor but you can use it as a "monitor" with a Onn dongle from Walmart for an android tv set up. In other words, yes, it has HDMI inputs just like other modern TVs.
