I got this set a year or two ago and have used it essentially everyday. So far I like it a lot and have only had one minor issue that the company quickly took care of.

They work great, heat very evenly, and have worn very well. We cook at home a few times a day, almost everyday, and these have been in heavy rotation. There are almost no scratches or stains, and we use the dishwasher with pods to clean them which have damaged other pans in the past.
I like the all-steel on the outside construction, including all the handles, and the etched quart measured inside the pots is a really nice touch. It's very helpful to estimate what size container is needed to put the food away. I also like that most of them use the same size lid so I don't have to look around to find the right one.

I do think that some of the other brands have a handle shape that I might prefer, but certainly not enough to pay more for it. Overall, I'm really happy with these for good much they cost.

I have no idea if I got Brazilians or not fwiw, and in general I'm not unusually hard on my pans. I'm older and have cooked all my life, including as a line cook, so I try not to beat my gear up too much.

They're either made in China or Brazil, people think Brazil ones are better quality.

Stainless steel pans are a lot more particular than nonstick. You have to wait for the temp, use oil, and adjust based on the food you're cooking. Nonstick is great, but it only lasts a few years, can scratch and needs special utensils, and doesn't sear or adjust temp as fast. I always think of it like a prybar and a screwdriver, different tools that can kind of replace the other but both have their ideal place. I personally only use nonstick for eggs now.

If specifically wanting triply clad, these are probably your best bang for buck. Otherwise, I'm too lazy to learn/wait for stainless so I really like Kirkland non-stick set for about $120ish
The non stick isn't that good gonna return mine

It's an online only thing. None of the Costcos around here (CT) carry them in store. Not sure if others do?
I didn't see them at the NB location 😔

The most obvious difference is the sizes. I like that this has the 5qt dutchie and the 8qt stock pot, vs just a 6qt stock in the other set. That better suites how I cook. My big, covered saute pan never makes it out of the cabinet, and both of these sets have more sauteed/frying pans than I need. These are probably just fine, however the one Tramontina pan I've used was kind of crumby, and Calphalon is a pretty well trusted brand.

Personally, I've fallen in like with Circulon non-stick sauce pans. They've held up better than expected and still look new after a few years. I always think about a new set of stainless pans, but between the Circulon, a big Amazon Basics enameled dutch oven, and some vintage cast iron frying pans, there's no need to spend the money on any else. I'd probably go e this set a hot over the Calphalon, but because of the size selection, but I'm not buying either so my preference doesn't mean much.

What do you mean by the "Brazilian" ones exactly? Are they better quality? Any link for those? Thank you!

For whatever reason in the past the Chinese made ones seem to be more prone to warping. I don't know if it's still true, but in the past there seems like there was some merit to the concern.

All stainless steel is subject to warping BUT these sets are generally on the lighter side which leads to more problems if exposed to too much heat. Use the most appropriately sized element you can when heating these to better distribute the heat.

I've been waiting for this sale to return. Thanks for the heads-up. I hope this set is as good as most reviewers claim. I'm someone who cooks multiple times per day, so they'll see heavy use and one reviewer on Costco says they won't hold up? Anyone here have that experience? I guess I can always return them if they get pitted, dinged or leak at the rivets. Maybe those reviewers got a more cheaply made set?
I cook often, not a pro but consistently. I bought the Brazilian set about 5 years ago and they work great and still look new thanks to barkeeper's friend. In fact, my all clad 12 has a convex bottom that the Tramontina doesn't. The only thing I didn't like was the high sides on the frying pan, which is why I replaced it. I even recently bought this set for my sister as a housewarming gift and they love it as well.

I bought this set roughly 2 years ago. They are a family of 5s daily cooking pans. They are solid. They do discolor a bit over time but not much. I absolutely would buy again.

This Cook N Home set might be an even better value.

I bought just the saucepan and it's on par in terms of thickness and quality as a Cuisinart Multiclad Pro.

I have this set too and love it. What I've discovered is that if you cook something acidic in the pots (i.e. tomato sauce, anything with citrus, etc), the discoloration will disappear and the pots will come out looking brand new.

i should say i cook south asian meals at home so involves oil spices veg and meats and these things are not useful. we need deeper bigger frypan sauce pan type and lids and has to be non stick.

Amazing cookware at a great price. Be aware you need to add significant oil when frying or your food will stick. You can't just mist it like non-stick.
2y of regular use and they still shine with no pitting or discoloration.
