I like to keep the age ol tradition of doubling the amount of ram that people say 99% of people won't know the difference or fully utilize it "in gaming".

Really depends on the games played if you notice it. My rig had 32GB of ram and was great for most games, until I got into star citizen and I watched that game alone eat all 32 gigs, upgraded to 64GB and chilling now uses maybe 40 if i'm watching youtube while playing star citizen.

TLDR: 32 is fine, 64 is situational
