A great way to keep customers on your website browsing is by not giving them product filters on size and availability so they'd keep on wasting time. Meanwhile, the website team in Dicks is getting promotions because they have successfully jacked up number of visitors and time spent on the website despite lackluster sales.

The lackluster sales is sales team's problem.

Then the customer support team is surfacing customer complaints about the lack of filters that wasted people's time, and is asking the website team to implement those filters.

The website team refused because it'd hurt their metrics and their career growth.

F*ck Dicks website.

Are you ok ... what are you babbling about?

Here's an example for Shop All Men's Clothing
https://www.dickssportinggoods.co...ns-apparel - There's a filter for:
  • Brands
  • Product Type
  • Activity
  • Size Range
  • Size
  • Color
  • Sale
  • Price

Very hard agree with you. The Dick's Sporting Goods website is so incredibly buggy. Trying to use it is a nightmare. Frequent frozen, unresponsive tabs, slow loading, buggy options/sizes on the page, and PayPal isn't working for me at the moment (keeps telling me invalid shipping and billing address). As a webdev myself, the caliber of web developers they have seems to be very low. Something is seriously wrong with their software engineers.
