Yeah I'm hoping for a good bundle with a game that doesn't suck. We're four years into this cycle, they've either gotta start migrating more of the PS4 user base over, or these people are just going to wait for PS6.
At the end of May, 49 million PS4's were still in active use - same as PS5. Imagine this many PS3's still being played in 2017. Source: https://arstechnica.com/gaming/20...as-the-ps5
Between the Apple-esque hardware and accessory pricing ($80 controllers), the absolutely terrible first party publishing (what is Naughty Dog actually doing?), some of the best games being cross gen with PS4, everything getting released on Steam, etc. it is hard to tell who the remaining target audience is other than people with massive PS4 digital libraries that have a lot of games "upgradable" to PS5 (this is actually a decent number of titles). PSN pricing? Forget it.
Even the "cool stuff" like the 30th Anniversary products have lousy pricing. To be fair, Microsoft is even more inexplicable with the first party publishing. Sometime next summer a bean counter is going to sit down and start feeling nauseous that Obsidian wasn't tasked with Fallout 5, to benefit from the show's success. Maybe we'll get that on Xbox Series Z?
