It seems that Discover stopped offering 20% off for Chipotle anymore. So 15% is the best offer. I have been waiting for this for a long time. Now the deal is back!

Just to be clear, this promo works for any gift card denomination offered up to a maximum of $200. Doesn't deal with the single gift card lingering with a not-to-useful amount in the app issue (which I agree, that would be super frustrating), but the larger value would at least delay how long it takes to get to a lingering amount if ordering via the app.

I've always felt that ordering via app resulted in smaller portion sizes than orders placed in person, so I place my order in store instead which means no one GC per account limitation. I was curious and did one with brisket, gauc and double wrapped, total was 19.98 at 1379 Ave of Americas location in NY. Same order is 17.94 for downtown Chicago where I work.

That's a lot of food regardless...

EDIT* woops, I did a burrito, not burrito bowl. Burrito bowl with brisket and guac is $19.43. Pricey but again, you're talking about brisket and gauc which are more expensive.

Remaining GC balance can be used both in person or in the app. Adding the GC to the app does not keep you from using it using it in person. Actually, you can use the app to pay with your GC option when at the store. It is just a scan of the GC QR code regardless of what format of your original GC (barcode with a pin typically).

I have mixed experience of the portion size ordering online/app. Some Chipotle locations will pack good amount of food, others will pack less.

I don't believe is true. When visiting NY city, did notice that the prices were higher and employees were grumpier. I redeemed my points there since the points required for redemption were the same - so effectively, I received a higher value for my points.

I have about $100 in Chipotle GCs and can't stomach the stuff. It comes out looking the same as when it went in - albeit at a much higher velocity.
