Does this contain Oxone/MPS?

Edit: Found the answer (yes)

https://www.efferdent.com/oxi-action

"Key ingredients of Oxi-Action include: sodium lauryl sulfoacetate (detergent), sodium percarbonate and potassium monopersulfate (bleaching agents), and tetraacetylethylenediamine (bleach activator)."

MSDS: https://www.medline.com/media/cat...D71167.pdf

MPS/Oxone can be bought in bulk at pool supply stores – it's aka "non-chlorine shock". Perfectly harmless after it's rinsed off

The 126 count also has the 30% coupon and comes out to be a tiny bit cheaper per tablet than the 90 count in OP.

Afterward, I also grabbed the 252 count of the "Complete Care" version which had a 25% coupon - similar price.

This works ok for Invisalign aligners BUT do yourself a favor and don't try Invisalign crystals because they are way way better but stupidly expensive

Anybody notice that Amazon is posting fewer and fewer suggested retail prices on items?

How well do these work compared to retainer brite (for invisalign)? The invisalign get changed out every month anyways, so it seems like as long as it doesn't damage it, it should be okay? This is like 1/4 the price.

According to my ortho, retainer brite is designed with pH levels that don't cause yellowing of clear aligners compared to denture tablets. For Invisalign aligners - it doesn't matter what you use to clean them as the trays are disposable and temporary (you use them 1-2 weeks and toss them), but for the clear retainers, you might want to reconsider using these. Clear retainers are supposed to last a lifetime, so it's a different situation compared to aligners. For clear retainers, I would go with either antibacterial soap+water+brush, retainer brite, or ultrasonic cleaner (or a combination).

Not necessarily true in my case. I've used these (Efferdent) for my retainers for years and they are still clear to this day. I haven't really noticed much of a difference (other than price) between Efferdent vs Retainer Brite.

I use these or Polident on my final aligners and there is no staining at all, they still look new.
