I flew French Bee. The price is amazing but it's basically international Spirit Airlines. One of the worst flights I've ever taken to Paris and back

Not extreme, but certainly chilly (mid/upper 30s to mid/upper 40s). If you're lucky, you might get a little snow.

We went last year around this time, we loved it although from CNY so used to the cold. I found it to be mild, not cold at all it was more like sweater weather for us at least. If you are nervous about hearing all French people hate the Americans, go during this time. I honestly think they are just exhausted from all the tourist during peak season. We found them patient and understanding and loved going. While major attractions were busy the wait wasn't unbearable or anything.

Good to know. I have been thinking about it from LAX. Especially when a French meal at Bicyclette was close to $400. I figured I could almost fly for that on French Bee! shake head

If you have a Jet Blue credit card ( Barclays ) you can get 1 checked bag for free plus one for up to 3 travel companions.

Also for Veterans ( also available from a company that used to be called Veteran Advantage and I believe is now called We Salute)

The only annoying thing is for the veterans offer you have to call Jet Blue's customer service.

Most of the northern half of Europe is about like NYC or Boston, give or take, all year round (but wetter). The Gulf Stream keeps it pretty nice.

I've been to Paris in January. I wouldn't recommend or do it again.
